WHAT DO YOU NEED TO TRAIN AT HOME

Do you need special equipment?

No, that's the great thing about it, you don't need any special equipment to train at home. On the contrary, the simpler the better! For many of the most challenging workouts you'll ever do, all you need is a little space and your own body weight. Of course, if you have more space and a little money available, you can add a few facets to your training by getting resistance bands, a sling trainer (TRX), kettlebells or medicine balls.

Where do you train best?

A 2x2m area is all you need and don't forget that it doesn't necessarily have to be in your own four walls. As some studies confirm, outdoor exercisers have higher scores in areas such as vitality, joy, self-esteem and enthusiasm, while tension, depression and fatigue play a smaller role. Another factor is that sunlight also has a positive effect on your mood and of course on your tan

Do you have a suggestion for a beginner workout?

Clear. Let's start with a simple body weight circuit that can be done both outdoors and indoors. Do the following exercises step by step

1.    Deep squat

2.    Mountain climbers

3.    Heels / butt kicks

4.    Burpees

5.    Star jumps

6.    pushups

7.    Jumped lunges

8.    Forearm support

Beginners: If you're just starting out with bodyweight training, do each exercise for 30 seconds and rest for 30 seconds in between. At the end of a round you take a 60 second break and do 2-3 series.

Advanced: You will notice how regular exercise can make you stronger and fitter. Now it is time to increase the load time. (45-60s) Concentrate on performing each exercise with the full range of motion.

Expert level: To really boost your metabolism, make use of the Tabata principle and perform each exercise for 20 seconds and shorten the break to 10 seconds between the exercises. The goal is to do each exercise at maximum speed (and still controlled). Do another 2-3 series.
